ReplyDeleteThere are some really interesting facts about the Anzacs and why we commemorate Anzac Day. I can't believe the number of soldiers who went off to World War 1, and Gallipoli and didn't return because they were killed in action. It's very sad. Since that time NZ has had a special connection with Australia because of the bond we formed while fighting together for our countries. Do you like Anzac biscuits? Maybe you could try baking some at home for the weekend.
